not exactly but close enough as the 353 didn't spin as fast or make the power of a 346

Right a 545 is a detuned 550xp and a 353 is a detuned 346xp...i guess my post is kinda confusing

These are very nice pro saws for the money. And they run very well. The 2253 spins up a little faster, but unless you hold a stopwatch to them, the difference is hard to notice. These saws almost feel like they have more torque in the cut.

I agree I have the big brother huskys the 555 and 562xp. The 562xp is a screamer but the 555 seems to have lug. But they are very close.

Wouldn't be interested in trading for a 555?
