Jonsered 670 Pistons. Which one?

Received 2 different pistons for rebuilds. Is the one on the left for open ports only or universal and closed port as well? Or both work with either cylinder type? The reason I ask and this confuses me I already had a new 268 open port Giliardini P/C and it has same piston as one on the left. Which one is best for the 670 Jred closed port cylinder? Both are 50mm 266/268/670 aftermarket pistons

A 266/268/670 cylinder will run with either piston but the one on the right is the correct design.

They’ll both work. The one on the right will run a lot better in a 670
