Sold Jonsered Super 920

Going to see about letting this one go. I went through this saw from the case up a couple years back and it got anything that it needed at that time, crank seals, gaskets etc.

It has been upgraded with a 930 top cover and air filter setup, it also has some custom bar studs to use regular 9mm slot big husky bars and the clutch cover has been bushed for the studs also. The wimpy 1/2" square muffler outlet got replaced with a 3/4" round tube outlet and the inner baffles modded also.

My comp tester is leaking down again but I saw it bumping 160lbs. You can see in the photo this is a thin ring piston in top shape.

Its in top shape but you can tell its been used over the years but nothing broken just a dent in the clutch cover. It is one strong running 87cc saw. I don't know what else to tell, ya, ask any questions.

I would like $350 for the PHO plus shipping. If you want a bar and chain we can talk about it.

I'm not a Jonsered collector and I could stand to lose a couple saws that are not collectable to me that are just taking up space and not being used enough.

I forgot to mention the recoil cover screws were stipped so the case got drilled and tapped for the next larger screws. They all match and are not a issue, just mentioning that.

The chainbrake is in good working condition also.

Damn, I got to looking around this trading post at some of the stuff listed here, looks like I seriously underpriced this thing.

This saw will kill a clapped out MS460 thats priced almost double.

Well, maybe but there are some other brands that are lesser saws then this, priced noticeably higher.

The 920/930 have always been underrated saws, especially the thin-ring versions. They balance well with a standard 28"-30" bar and are a great falling and bucking saw.

You know your saw's that is well known and your statement like always is spot on.

I have ran a 32" on this saw and it works well with it. That is a 28" thats pictured on it and its easy to swap bar around now with this one as its no longer tied to a 10mm slot bar.

"If" someone had a nice quality 22 bolt action rifle, I would entertain a trade. I know a little about those though so I ain't going to fall for a $200 Marlin offered for $400. LOL

No I didn't say no Marlins, I like Marlins, but no $200 Marlins that someone thinks is worth $400 like the last one that came through here. I might even over pay a little for a nice one but not double pay.

I just looked up about that same distance last night but since I don't have it boxed, I'm only guessing but UPS was cheaper then USPS and probably about $35.

Like I said, I would have to box it up to get a exact cost

Yeah well sometimes there is a difference and it pays to check, last night for example UPS beat USPS priority by $20 and I didn't even add the insurance with USPS.

I find that quite often when the package gets over 20lbs
