Just back from Stihl school today 462 % 500i are on the way

The much wanted 462 with be out this quarter. The 500i will be here by the end of the year. Well that is what I was told today lol look out Huskies I have heard that 7/11 stores will carry Huskies soon as well as Wendys

A grand + or so for the 462 a bit more for the 500i

But you have to tell the tree how much you've payed, for it to be impressed. ; )
Can't say the specs are that far off a dolkita 7900 series, wich is 10 years on the market. Compaired to two brand new saws.

The 462 looks to be an upgrade to the 461. It is the 500i that is an evolutionary step. If you don't have a 461 and want one, then wait and get a 462. Damned if I will part with my 461. 3 years now and it Stihl runs like new. I figure it will stay strong for another 10+ years.
