Hi..I bought this stove new about 6 years ago. Doesn't heat up no where near what I expect. Loves to make coal.I believe I need more flue, that would help I've heard. What about cleaning. I clean the flue usually twice during a winter. Are there any internal cleanings needed or any other i'm missing..Dam stove seems to never get enough air... I owned the 400 up in Alaska and that would cook you out..Thanks
 
Modern stoves. Picky picky. 2nd on @Firewood Daddy 's comment.
Old stoves, you just burned more wood, if mc was high. (Moisture Content) however, these new jobs, want fully dried wood. Something akin to kiln dried.

It's been a few years, but seems like I took apart the intake air vent and opened up some restriction that I found there. Seemed to work better after that.
