• Notice to all BUYERS. You are buying at your own risk. If you do not know the seller then please be cautious and look for suspicious activity. If they ask you to mail a check/money order or pay with PayPal using the Friends and Family option, that is a RED FLAG. Your purchase will not be protected. Only pay with credit card or PayPal using the goods and services options. Do not fall for the excuse that they don't want to pay the PayPal fees. They need to account for that in their sales price.
  • To all USERS that think they need to police the site. New users that come to sell items are not always selling stolen merchandise. No vigilante or lynch mob mentality is permitted. You will be given infraction points if you accuse someone of selling stolen merchandise without hard evidence. You must have the stolen item report with a serial number and/or pictures that match the for sale item to make such accusations. Alert the moderators with your evidence and they will take care of any transgressions. If you do not you will be given enough points for a 3 day time out.
  • Please be aware that we have recently gotten a wave of users that, when researched, are found to be from Nigeria. They are trying to sell products and asking to be paid through Zelle or Venmo leaving users with no recourse if they don't ship the product. If you suspect this activity please contact admin and we will research their information to verify their location.

I have to admit that I'm on the fence on this saw myself. We have big wood out here for it to eat, but I'm kinda more of a vintage large saw guy, still.

This is technically vintage: it’s an updated 1101, which was a copy of the 070 with enhancements.

It’s better than anything else new in this size.

Update: the long awaited original bar arrived today! A 36” hard nose beauty made by Tsumura for this saw.
At this point I will only sell the saw with this bar. $2200 plus shipping. This cost may sound high but it’s still less than I paid.

Guys like I’ve said I don’t have a use for this saw anymore. It looks like the price is hard for people to come by. I am opening up to partial trades. Let me know what you have.

Anyone interested in a barely used MS880? I have a partial trade offered by a member on here. If myself or current owner have a buyer it will help the deal go through for CS1201.

In the specs it says starter assist system. Does that mean it has a kick starter or electric starter besides the pull start? Lol sorry I seen the cc’s and figured I couldn’t start it. But the starter assist system caught my eye.

If I was 30 years younger I’d run that beast.

Run it and you’ll feel young again!
Not sure what is meant about starter assist? No electric start.

I turned 50 recently, so decided to get it all chk'd out. Only took 6mos harping at my Doc to get it done.
They have all these lists of what needs to be done when, then wanna drag their Friggin' feet when you
ask about it! What a racket!

Can’t believe this saw is still available. Got offers for trades that didn’t materialize. Eventhough the two jobs I bought this for didn’t happen perhaps I hold onto it...Not looking to profit just get my $2200 back.
