I have a ton of limb wood kickin around and need a method to saw them that doesn't involve shin destruction. If you have a saw rig or any other "rig" that you have invented, please let me know and better yet, post some pics. Budget is a concern, but I have metal trade skills to fabricate.
 
If you are carefull, use the back of the bar, then the wood will be pushed away from you and not into your shins.
 
Thanx folks, my thoughts are flowing now! I smell a winter cellar project in the works! I wish I could see the clamp part of that Bailey's rig, the rest I can reproduce but that clamp......not sure?
 
I've looked at that rig in the catalog. I think it is just a simple arm that lays on the wood and uses the tipping point being forward to hold the back of the wood down. Looks short enough that it can't swing because the wood would be pushing straight up on it.
