Live Oak Pruning help. Can this tree be saved

I have a Live Oak in my back yard that neighbored or pruned. It now has a dead area from limb pruned. Can this Tree be saved or is it time to remove. Did the bad prune job killl the tree? Pics attached

Remove the hazard tree.

Live Oak is strong wood and if there were no targets, I might leave it, but it's in a bad place. IMO, remove.
