I have a smaller log jack for up to 14" logs. My plan is to make a log jack with steel handle 60" long to jack 14" to 24" or better logs just off the ground for cutting firewood. My design right now is a hook that is approx. 30" before radius bend to top middle of 24" log from 12" back from tip to hook pivot.
Does anyone have a log jack that takes large logs like this and what are hook dimensions?

You sure you need to go that big? My large peaveys and Logrites will move a log 48” diameter. A kick or tool whack may be needed to get bite. Roll it onto something that gives you a couple inches off the ground. If blocked from rolling I use a farm jack (carefully, treat it like a grenade with the pin pulled).
