My energy control valve on my splitter leaks at the end cap opposite the control handle. Sometimes the handle is impossible to push to get cylinder to return. Installed repair o'ring kit. No worky

i've had 2 of them go that way. one i took all apart and lost a ball as it flung apart. the second one only lasted a year. not sure why so i've changed to another (unknown) brand.

Valves and spools are a matched set. Their final fit is lapped. The seals are there more to keep dirt out than oil in. If they leak more than an occasional drop or two they need to be replaced, not resealed.

I had one on my old splitter( huskt22 ton) I took it apart but I could never get the ball to seat with that heavy spring so I gave up and bought a new one.

Yup time for a new valve, our you got the o ring pinched or ****ed is somehow on install.
