cute baby coon. they are really great to let roam free if you live in the country and can lock up the doggie door(along with everything else lol).

I red in Wiki that they often have special racoon roundworms (Baylisascaris procyonis). But that is not dramatic. Here I found some information.

It has been claimed (by my invertebrate zoology instructor) that there is a nematode (roundworms, ascaris, aschelminthes, etc) parasite for every specie of animal on the planet. That includes birds, mammals, insects, spiders, etc. This of course makes them the most prolific

You can bet that raccoons have several different kinds of roundworms.
