Looking for a good sale on a Drolet Heatmax II or Tundra II

I need a new wood-burning furnace and have settled on a Drolet. I have seen lots of people's posts on various sites, claiming to have gotten their Drolet for something around $1500 but the best deal I can find online is ~$2300 including shipping.

Does anyone know of any good sales on Drolet wood burning furnaces anywhere?

Drolet Heatmax II and free shipping for ~$1,800 USD depending on the USD/CAD exchange rate when you order.

I sent an email to My Fireplace Products and asked if they had any specials running, of which I could avail myself.

I also sent an email to L&M Fleet Supply, about their $1900 Drolet Heatmax II plus $275 shipping. I asked them if they could do any better on the price.

They have links in them to the Drolet HeatMax II listings on L&M Supply and MyFireplaceProducts. Editing them to remove the links does not take them out of "moderator approval" limbo. :-(

I got mine at a Menards sale. Just have to watch for the sales. Think it was about $1400, but that was a long time ago.

I have the bigger Drolet now, I like it better. Obviously depends on the size of your house, but it puts out a lot more heat and doesn’t use much more wood.

When I bought my furnace, not a drolet, I got it from L&M. They were the cheapest and on top of the low price the shipping got messed up and I had to pick it up from the freight company so they refunded the 250$ shipping charge.

Do lots of research before buying a furnace.

The HM II was on sale for $1899 at L&M this past week...maybe still is?
That's about as cheap as you will find a new one now...

Just noticed that Menards has the Heatpro on sale for $1779 right now...but that's the only Drolet furnace model they even show available right now for some reason...
