I never seen saw screws so tight must have been orginal.

I'd use Kroil (let it creep overnight) and a soldering iron.

Deep creep is my favorite

It obviously won the “test” as most know.

I do use ATF+4/k1 kerosene/mineral Spirit at a 1:1:1 ratio as a cheaper penetrating oil for not so stuck on things.

I don’t like using acetone in it because that is obviously terrible for plastics

My dad gave me one almost 50 years ago when I left home. Said "Son, you won't need this often but when you do you'll really need it." He was right (as with so much), I don't need it often and it takes a couple minutes to figure out again but when needed its a godsent.

I purchased the hammer impact driver for tough screws but I didn’t want to risk hurting the case. I been using them for many decades on the older Phillips head screws on dirtbike cases. I’m dangerous with a 48 oz ball pein hammer in my hands.

This go around using a 3/8” ratchet with a screw driver bit broke them loose.
