The wife and I are new to planting trees. We had a nursery plant a magnolia tree in October of last year. Up until fairly recently, it was looking healthy.

Now some of the leaves are discoloring and have holes in them. The flowers budding, but none have opened and some are wilting.

Can someone give me an idea what might be wrong.FBD8CB3B-2FE6-41F6-9FD3-AF1EDDACAA70.jpeg

Sorry I am no help.
Can you call your local state college agricultural extension?
Many times they have an email link and have free advise. Just send several pics.
Another suggestion would be to call and talk to the nursery that planted the tree. They may know.
