Making beams

Making some 8x8 beams. Put a small mill on the 500i, weighed in at 15 kgs.

Boxed heart beams are good, what sort of wood?

What's the other saw with the big bar? 090?

How did the 500i handle milling? Enough oil from oiler? Chain setup?

Was a good morning, got it done in about 3hrs before it was too hot.
Wood is macrocarpa, not often i see them pruned. Usually they are big and ugly looking.
Yep big one is one of my 090's.
Chain, im at 10° and keep wiping at rakers untill it self feeds.
The 500 went good, crazy light like the factory forgot to put the flywheel on or something.
I knocked the roll pin in and turned oiler right up, emptys oil before petrol so long term ill knock pump back and run an aux oiler.
