I am looking for another 6421 or 6400 saw... I don't want anything that looks like it's been dragged behind the truck on the way home. Not worried about compression. I have a bunch of spare parts for these saws. It doesn't need a bar. It can be the power head only.

Let me know what you have.

Thanks

Did you ever find one? I have a 6421 that I might let go. I have never bought nor sold on here though, FYI

I have a MWS 6421 with a Poleman carb and an HD filter kit. The saw does not appear to have been a rental saw, runs well, but I've got 5 7910's, one ported and another modded so the 6421 doesn't get used like it should, I still take it out now and then to keep it running well though.
I can get more pictures, this was all I had that was recent, it was last ran 2 weeks ago.

Well, Chipper1, now I can see exactly why you would never want to sell a Makita 6400. I doubt I will ever sell mine either:
Big Elm2.jpg That's a 32" bar that I used to cut that big elm. I added a BBK when I rebuilt the top end, but I doubt it really needed it.
