I've got a client that has a Maple tree in their front yard that is exhibiting some dry, crispy, wilting leaves w/ larger dead spots (1st pic). The 2nd pic is a different Maple tree that has small brown spots on the leaves. This one is pretty common as I've seen it quite often on a lot of Red Maples, I just don't know what it is. Any ideas on what the 2 are?Maple1.jpg

I’ve been seeing the same up here on my clients trees. Very early for tar spot. I’m leaning towards pseudomonas bacterial infection due to frost damage but I’m still not sure.

First picture is anthracnose. I think the spots are anthracnose as well... Tar spot, I'm pretty sure, would have a lighter colored ring around the outside/darker in the middle. These are opposite of that...
