Used Mastermind Ported MS880 with a New OEM Top End & New OEM Oil Pump & hoses.

I bought this Saw off a member last fall & had it sent to Randy for a Port Job.

Upon initial disassembly, Randy determined the Oiler was trashed so a New Oiler was installed.

Upon further disassembly, it was determined the Piston & Cylinder were Trashed also.

Randy ordered a New OEM Cylinder & Piston, & ported the Cylinder.

Fun Fact: the original seller was supposed to contribute to the Parts bill, but he must have been busy.

I've got a few bars so I could possibly sell with the Saw, but be forewarned, bar shipping gets pricy.

I'll try to get a compression reading, & a few other pictures today.

    $1400 + shipping PHO.

    50" Cannon .404" & 3 Stihl 143dl 404" chain- $325 + shipping

    Somehow,
There is now a hole in the Air Filter cover.

    This Saw was done after I ran Deeter's 88 with a 50".

I'll see if I can find a video, but to answer your question, like a freaking Horse.

Looks like one of the smaller saws it ate escaped by busting a hole in the filter cover.

You can fix it with JB well Plastic weld. I started a thread o. What I did with an 038 air filter cover. It grips well, dries clear, can be painted or left as is.

Man, if I hadn't just bought a new one recently, I'd be on that one.
