I have a McCulloch 5-10 with the full wrap handle but it is damaged. So far I have been unsuccessful at finding anyone out there that still has any NOS or good used parts they are willing to part with. I am trying to come up with a way to replicate the handle and have found a shop that can bend steel tubing to match.
My question for all of you is: How many would be interested in getting one of more of these for yourself as the price goes down with the quantity produced. Right now it looks like the material/labor cost for the basic parts would be around $30 each if I order 10 pieces or around $25 if i order 25 pieces, plus a bit of welding and drilling to make the completed handle.
Looking forward for your input so I know how many to order up the first go 'round. Keep in mind that this handle fits 10 Series saws only, the Pro Macs and Super Pros are different.
I guess if this is too commercial and gets me banned, I will see you all again somewhere out there.
