My used 70cc block showed up today. Was meant to be a 7-10 but it's a 700 no complaints though it's got a dam good cylinder and piston. I'm keeping the stuff up 10-10S he sent me as its amazing inside and so is this 1 too.

Very very happy not sure what to do with it yet I wanted to use it on my older 7-10 with a sad cylinder (still runs really well) but now its turned out to be a 700 I suppose I should use it on the 700 which is also not the best cylinder. Decision's decision's hmm.

What to do with the S mm thinking maybe repower the nice pm10-10 so I'll actually use it as of now it just kinda sits the overweight little sucker.

Orr put a key way in the crank of the 57cc and put under the 2-10 tank and covers that would make a ripper of a saw

Edit just realized I could put the top end on the 2-10

Id put it on the 700 with rough cylinder, then do something with the 2-10. It would bring that little saw to life

It really would be a pretty cool saw it's very tidy only needs an sdc thrown on it as it is now it's got plenty compression and did run well on the bullfrog for a couple days and then went for a spew haha.

The sdc fits under the cover but the choke is a bit sketchy so was thinking just make a sliding choke for it or flag the choke and hand choke it.

But yeah it would be a little hot rod with the 57cc top end 20190809_142341.jpg

Any idea what model this saw is? Does the model number tag tell what model? I know it’s a 10 series.

Don't have one but there should be a few in your area. In the past I've seen several with bows advertised in SC and GA. Ron
Well I talked to a good fellow who thinks he's got one in a storage trailer and was wondering if anyone has experience with the gear drive 7-10?
Your right though lots of old timers talk about the g70 when pulp wood and fence post production were high here.
