Someone wanna tell me how the hell.. this spring goes in?

Well i just picked one up and had the same problem. All i did was hooked the hook part around the trigger, not sure if its right but it works. Ill try to get you a picture.

Judging from the IPL, the hook on the spring goes over the throttle rod and the flat end butts against the top of the handle. I seem to recall it that way when I had one apart as well.

You mean the pin that holds the trigger in?
