I can get this bar for $90. Is there a better bar for the money and would this size and gauge chain work. I guess I am asking is there a better setup? Hardwood
Thanks for any help
Oregon 423RNDD009 .063" Gauge 3/8" Pitch 42" Power Match Bar

I’m sure someone will come up with something better, but that is the bar I am currently using but mine is 36”. Works well for me.

That's a good price. Bars of this size can get expensive. Probably gonna want to run an auxiliary oiler.

Thanks Brian72, I will read up on the oiler
Anytime. I have a Granberg mill. I know they make a bolt-on auxiliary oiler but many guys have made their own with scrounged parts. Basically just something to get some oil on the bottom of the bar mounted towards the tip.
