Thanks. I was considering it. Now I won't. I find it somewhat annoying that someone would start a thread and only have a stinking link to another page. Only a retired cop would be so lazy as to not bother to cut and paste the article.
Good thing nobody around here does that.

Cut & paste is too much work. What's it take, about 1 second or less, to click on a link?

Besides......I'm retired now. I have to watch how much effort I put into things. I don't want to give other retirees a bad impression.

Being a person that walks a lot . I do not like them . But most dogs here are drug guard dogs . To be poor an get more dogs is one thing . To be a good person is another . I had some dogs and were trained to behave . This crap of chasing people on the road needs to stop . Everyone wants a dam wall . I just want to walk in peace .

They're more dangerous people to children than dogs. On the dogs side there are some bad dogs but usually followed with bad owners

any dog can be bred and trained to be aggressive and mean. and likewise, with proper training and care, the same breeds can be completely docile.

I think you should be able to shoot the violent breeds on site if they are off their owners property. Dog catcher included. If it shows any aggression it’s gone. The stereo types hold true atleast half the time.
When the wife’s out for a walk with the kids if a lab comes running up to them no one gets scared. If a pit bull comes the pepper spray is mandatory. A lady with a broom and the mailman saved my family from a pit one day. The lady with a broom said it was atleast the tenth time the dog had got off the chain and attacked someone. I wish I had been with them and it would not currently be a threat to anyone. The police can’t to anything real unless the dog bites you bad enough to go to the emergency room and file a police report.
I’m all for people owning whatever they want, but seems the same folks can’t control their “pets” over and over. I own stuff others don’t like such as guns, but I have to keep them holstered in public.

Hot dogs have probably killed mor children than any other dog. Between choking and obesity they're number one.

From all the dogs I've been around the most dangerous ones are the ones that haven't been properly socialized nor trained by their owners. No matter what the breed.

So much for not worrying about a lab running up to you. 42962A12-3583-4450-804C-5319BF26D131.png

You can't draw a conclusion unless you know the percentage of dogs that are labs vs the percentage that are pitbulls. My guess is there's a lot more labs and retrievers than pitbulls, which your image doesn't acknowledge.

Labs still had the most attacks.
