MS 441 repair

I was given an ms441 that has a broken piece on the cylinder where the AV spring attaches. Does anyone have an idea how to repair this without a new cylinder?

Open the screws of the broken AV element on the cylinder and the handle. Replace it with a new one. The hard av element version is part no. 1138 790 8311. Also see the file attached for possible rework information depending on the av element and shroud combination you have.

Get a longer spring. Replace the ends (they screw out) and drill and tap the remainder of the mount at the cylinder. Clearance the cover and go to cutting
