These saws are failures?
These saws are failures?[/QUOTE]
comparing them to their predecessors. they are failures to me.
I dont find a the 661c to be a failure. It runs better than any unported 066 or 660. Its also quite smooth.
The 461 is a fantastic saw. I'm not sure what you could find fault with about it.
I’m about to pull the trigger on a 372, but would be extremely disipointed if I drop that amount of coin and have a 572 / 462 released within a few months. So I’m considering holding off. But that’s not ideal as I have a lot of oak to cut.
If I were a dealer for either brand I would be pretty upset by both companies releasing these products earlier than available to me and potentially costing me sales on 372 / 462 / 441. I assume there are more people like me out there sitting on their cash until these saws are released.
It’s almost October. I wonder if these are going to be available yet?
461 is a fantastic saw if u need a saw that will work nearly 7 days a week year after year. If it was my responsibility to supply the saws at work I would get a few more 461's while their still available.
I agree !
462 seems to have a low intake out of the box. Randy posted that he timed one at 82. From the little i thought i knew about timing more intake usually equals more fuel consumption...
Third quarter of 2019 is the last answer I got.
A strong "personal" opinion.......albeit a flawed opinion.
A year ago it was third quarter of 2018.
It was the fourth quarter of 2018 for the 462 and 3rd quarter of 2019 for the 500i. Atleast that what I was told. Doesnt mean they wont get moved again. Ive learned to accept some old advice. Dont think about it and your head wont hurt lol
I commented the same thing and they said first quarter of 2019
I said piss on it and bought a 461R havent been disappointed yet

I'm extremely happy with my 461R. So much so, I'm not interested in obtaining a 462.
My dealer had no idea when I asked about the 462, this was two weeks ago.
I hope they hold off on the 462 until later in the year.
I get my bonus in March and plan on grabbing a few 461s to stick on the shelf. And I don't want to hunt for them due to production stoppage...
I was at my *Dealer * This past Week he told me 462 is in his system. He is ordering a few . He has not heard anything till now.
Why limit yourself to just two? Echos 70+ cc is also on the cusp of coming out. Considering I just noodled a 32 inch bar in hardwood with their current 60cc saw, the new design big brother just might be a beast.
