Is there a way of doing muffler mod by cutting the flap over the exhaust port and drilling through original hole so i don't have to trim plastic cover?
and bend flap back down

Yes you can fully mod the muffler without needing to hack at the plastic.

my theory was cut sides of metal flap over factory outlet bend back then drill/Dremel out through factory hole then bend and braze flap back into factory shape haven't seen anyone do it that way hoping it would work thanks for any help
