Put an 18 on one and see how it compares .
They are great saws though, I like to keep one around, even though I'm more of a husky guy

I am also a Husqvarna guy... but after running both just like you ... their closer than I thought they would be , I favor the 346 but that stihl is just so little and light ........ guess i am just old at 56 ....... ...both are great
