Ms250 when carving drops oil on carving

Just started trying some carving. I noticed last night while im doing some rounding on the top of a mushroom high speed and tip pointed down that the bar oil is piling up by the base of the bar and dripping on my work. Is this normal when the saw bar is not going deep into the wood like in a normal log cross cut?

Yes, no way to avoid getting bar oil on a carving.
