MS440 rim sprocket

Hello all, I have a MS440 with a 3/8 rim sprocket 7 spline, 7 tooth.

Question - does a .325 just swap over and if I wanted/needed a .404 what's involved and part numbers if known

On the .404is it more than just the sprocket , if it can be done.

I have a 3003 .404 .063g 18" & 20" Stihl bar with carbide chain I want to run when needed

Rim sprocket, chain, and bar must be compatible, whatever you do.

Not sure why anyone would put a .325 on that saw. But if it can be done your local Stihl dealer can set it up.

Thx. On the .404 is it just the rim sprocket gear or the clutch driver also ( ?? Blank on name )

All of the rim drive sprockets posted above will fit on the standard 044 clutch drum.
