I want to thank those of you that reached out to me on this thread and via PM. I did send you all a PM just a min ago. A friend of mine sent me a link to a 10-10 that was on Facebook marketplace. I never looked there so wouldn’t have seen it. It was within driving distance and was very clean.
Talked to the owner last night and he was the original owner and said it was 1978 when he bought it if he remembered correctly. He used it so little that believe it or not it has the original bar and chain on it. It’s in really good shape.
The only thing as of now I need to hunt down is the air intake debris catcher under the recoil. It’s broke and part of it fell out.
It had not been started in years. I put fresh 32:1 in it and I was shocked cause it fired on the very first pull with choke, flipped choke off and it fired and was running on the next pull.
First time I have ever heard a 10 series Mac run in person. Wow. What a treat, music!
Also has the electronic ignition. Can anyone verify year via the serial number?
