Muffler Mod

What yall think about doing the Poulan Pro PR5020 50cc muffler mod where you drill a ½” hole between the 2 screws in the muffler? Saw it on a YouTube even with a side by side comparison but my old damaged ears couldn't tell the difference. Plus if someone was trying to prove a point they could easily push down harder with the one saw they wanted to win the comparison. Your thoughts?

I don’t know about your particular model, but any saw can benefit from opening up bottle neck in exhaust. Just make sure you retune carb properly to realize your gain, and keep engine from going lean!
