I've been reading the threads on this site for the last month or so and I finally decided to register and post a question.
When modifing a stock EPA type muffler, what are some basic guidlines to go by? Should extra ports be placed in a certain location? What is the optimum size for the exhaust outlet? Say, 70 percent of the bore area? Is there such a thing as too big?
