This is a picture of the tree I put as my avatar at basically the time I joined. It makes lots of berries that kind of resemble black berries or rasberries but are black or close to black. They are good to eat and flocks of turkeys come at times in addition to smaller birds that do not walk on the ground. I grew up on a road named Mulberry road that is about 25 miles away. They imported silk worms and a special type of mulberry from China for the caterpillars to eat. One of the mills that unwound the caterpillar cocoons is at the Henry Ford museum in Michigan. There is a plaque where it once was. I do not know if this is a special kind of mulberry for the worms or caterpillars or not.
I will try and update this thread when it has leaves.
