I recently had this tree planeted in my front yard but it doesnt look like other chinese pistache trees. The land scaper couldnt give me any answers.
I think it might be a multi trunk tree but I am not sure. Any thoughts? Do you think the main trunk will grow taller?

Poor job by your landscaper. It is planted to deep for one, also those ties on the stakes are so wrong. He buried the root flare, it needs to be re=planted or taken out and replaced. That tree will not survive as is. Maybe you should go to the nusery and pick your tree and have a qualified guy plant it or check with us and we can help.
Jeff,

Thanks for the reply. I researched proper methods for planting and I agree it is not planted correctly. Any insight on how you think the main trunk will grow?
