I'm searching for the name of a tree. It's leaves are almost round, the
size between a quarter or half dollar coin. The top is medium green with
a silver underside. This tree is spectaculat in a breeze. I call it
the money tree because it looks like silver coins when it is stirred by
the wind.

I would like to have this specimen for my yard. Can you help me??

Thank you,
Marie

Maybe a poplar, around here some people call them quaking aspen for the effect the breeze has on them.

Sounds like eucalyptus to me also. These trees have a soft wood and are succeptible to breaking limbs, but they also have a wonderful aroma. I remember as a kid my Mom bringing eucalyptus trimmings home and making potpourri vases. They made the apartment smell great!:)
