still new here but my question is about my husky 450e. i have both lpx chain & 95vp (narrow kerf) & to me it seems a good bit faster w/ the 95vp chain than the lpx chisel. the only diff i see is the 95vp will sometimes bog in a cut more than the lpx but not that bad. the saw is stock w/ 18" bar. i like the saw quite well f/ limbing & small felling. ok back to the actual question. what are the disadvatages to narrow kerf on a saw this small. i have read alot here about how chisel & even square ground chisel is cuts fastest.
