need solo 647 pull start

Hi, cant seem to find a pull start-whole cover with rope and spring assembly for a solo 647, you guys on here seem to be able to find anything, kinda would like to get away without spending too much as I've become a chainsawaholic and have spent waaaaay too much on saws as of late.

I don't have one for you...

If you expand your search to include Solo 654 and Homelite 290 and 340, you may have better luck. They are all the same saw with diferent displacement.

I have a 654 money pit. The recoil mechanism isn't of the best design IMO. The single engagement dawg is prone to breaking. Parts can still be purchased new by calling Solo direct, even though they don't list the parts on the website.

Better that I found this forum.
I was looking for ebay only 647 and there is not much result on the recoil starter, with the homelite if it appears but everything is on the part will not have a diagram of what parts I need to repair the starter?
