New aerial lift mounted to 1985 f600???

Ok so this is just a thought I've been having considering my old lift (lr-50) is hard to find parts for.... but I'm wondering if my funds department gets a little better off if I could buy a newer aerial lift for my 1985 f600 truck w/ alum. Chip box because I have done alot of work to truck and it's paid for so I don't wanna spend any extra money that's not needed (buying entirely new rig ;truck,boom, and chip box)when my truck and chip box is good and doesn't have expiration date like the aerial lift does you know. So me being the practical purchaser I am, im wondering if I can just buy the section of rig I need being the aerial lift for MY rig being the 1985 f600 w/alum. Chip box?
