I've owned Klein pole gaffs (stolen), Geckos (sold with my CA business), and I currently have ancient tree gaffs (with newer pads) that are probably from the 70s or 80s! The spur is actually welded to the gaff. They are fairly uncomfortable to say the least. I'm spending most of my days climbing dead ash.
Anyway, I actually didn't love the geckos. They seemed to shift around a lot no matter how tight I wore them. You guys have any recommendations?
