yes, the pics are somewhere in the post. i'll dig em' out

update: cs1201 users
the clutch drum/sprocket will interchange with 070 clutch drum/ sprocket
if you wish to use 8 pin or 9 pin you could swap the rim style from 070's and choose the pin size you want to use

both models clutch drum/sprocket will interchange without any mods and 1201s bearing must be used on either

How does a MS720 compare to the 1201, in your opinion?

ms720 is pretty much 070 with some make up

the only pros with 070/ms720 is parts availability and better priced, also the fact its got roller crank bearings which supposedly last abit more longer than ball bearings
it wont matter in this case because no one cuts big wood that often like back then and the trade off with some life with revs are worth it i suppose

cs1201 has better av(7 rubber mounts), well balanced(handles are at right distance to give operator lever on big woods),
higher rev/power rpm, more torque, very ergonomic oiler and oiling capacity and very durable maybe even better than 070/720(probably the 2 most durable/quality saw still in production)
all in all cs1201 is the better saw
we are talking stock saws though not sure how it reacts to porting and 070/ms720 can be converted to 090
but thats different story

Thank You for the Details, PV.

@leeha told that the cs1201 smokes an 070.

yes it does 116cc vs 106cc its got 10cc advantage and most importantly the
motor design is somewhat a stroked 070

1201 58mm bore x 44mm stroke 116cc
070 58mm bore x 40mm stroke 106cc
076/075 58mm bore x 42mm stroke 111cc

higher torque combined with high rpms
1201 will pull ahead in any wood or sized bar by a stretch

Is that a mcculloch super pro 125 in your photobucket? Looks brand new. I'd love to own one
