I picked up a Poulan recently. Can anyone direct me to where I might find more info about this model? The guy said it is a runner, but the recoil doesn't always grab. I don't expect I will take it to the woods much, but would like it to run. Appears that all the parts are there.

Bet just 4000 covers on sides on 3400.

That 3400 I sold for 50 yesterday makes that saw look like a 10 saw IMO.

That 3400 is a nice little saw. May get the carb tore down and soaking tonight

I’m looking for a chainbrake like this one for a 4000 . I’d like to have one on “my sons”saw.
So I can't help you with the chain brake but just a side not I finally figured out what I can do with my semi trailer. Load it up with Poulans!!!!!:cool:

Thanks MS. Wow- Max RPM 6500! I am gonna do everything I can to bring her back to life. Run one tank thru her for fun then let her be a shelf queen. The chain appears to have a lot of life left.

If any one runs across a purple air filter cover for these 3450 3750 give me a holler.
Looking for one for the guy I sold this 3450 badboy too over weekend.

He said the saw was mint under the grime and topend too.

He has it all restored now but that. With the oem BB TA 20" bar these were sold with.

I have no interest in the saw. It is most definitely way over priced as well. I was just curious if I was correct in what I thought I was seeing as hotshot called it a Frankensaw lol.

I got curious, it is a 3400...sorry about the crappy copied photos.

Quick dust off.

Chain that comes with these in 1996 and the bottle of oil too.

Cleaned up after past owner cut with it for 2 tanks.

Going onto shelf till someone wants to buy it with the box for a collection I would reckon.

Trade might happen. Just depends if other saw shows up.

What filter looked like after 2 tanks.

This saw is now pending a trade. Other parts saw has been shipped.

Guessing this is a long shot but does anyone have a lead on an ignition coil for a 5200? Got one for free not running. One of the flywheel fan blades broke off and smashed the coil. Would love to get this green machine running. Might convince me to use my west germany saw less.
Is this the same 5200? So all it needed was a coil? Nice.:cheers:
