When I bought it the guy said it had a scored piston. For whatever reason, I decided to try adjusting the carb and it had seemed to run fine for a few months for me using it somewhat regularly. Lately, I haven't been using it consistently, and whenever I do go to use it, it's very fickle to start and won't idle smooth and it just frustrates me.

I'm not interested in putting more time or money into this saw. I'm not really a saw guy by any means and don't have diagnostic tools so probably can't help too much beyond what I've described.
