Sorry I have posted this before but I think it was in the wrong spot hope someone can help me, was wondering if anyone can tell me what the difference is with the farmer series of solo saws for example there is a 632, 638 then there's a solo farmer 32, 38 as well as others what's the difference between them other than the farmers are yellow

Regards Sean

Solo had the 'Farmer' series from mid 80's to mid 90's. Farmer 32 was same saw as 632, Farmer 38 same as 638. 634 came as Farmer 33, 641 as Farmer 40. All of these used the same top-rear handle body, just bumped displacement. See the Acres photo.

The top handle Solo 631 came as Farmer 31.

There was supposed to have been one of these in 47cc as a 647 aka Farmer 46, have never seen one of these. Solo had a habit of reusing some model numbers, so the later plastic rear handle 647 wasn't the same as the 80's metal-body top-rear handle 647.

Yeah OK thank you very much that makes sense, so is the only difference the farmer series have a few less CCs?

Regards Sean
