From logger chain. It does have a bumper on the drive link but not full safety chain.
That class of chain is about as safe as it comes try doing some plunges. There was a variant without the bumper drive links that was discontinued a few years ago, forget the letter code. The only no bumper chain in the 0.043 3/8lp I am aware of has the same cutters as the 0.050 stuff so not really sensible in my opinion.
