Just bought a Oregon micro lite bar and chain, can someone shed some light and give me info on this chain and bar

It is a lighter than "normal" 0.325 chain. Put up the numbers on the bar and for the chain ie 95 with what extra letters. Generally they have 10 tooth noses instead of 13 and the bar side lamina are about two thousands thinner than the pro lite or "normal" bars. If you see a speedcut banner way at the top of these pages click on that, that is the new and improved version.

Okay fair enough, so there is pretty much no difference

Not used any myself my neighbor has & he recons the are to easily bent
I hope I don’t have the same problem with mine, it’s gotta last me at least through next winter depending on how many m^3 I end up cutting, I ended up buying a 16 inch bar (replacing the 18 inch) for my husqvarna 450 II because I felt as though it was bogging too much compared to the father in laws ms250c

If all that is desired that there is likely a similar husky branded one you are set. Microlite name was also used for 90 class 3/8lp bars. Microlite pro had or has higher grade laminates. The made in Norway .325 nk Husky bar I have is supposed to be comparable to the mp grade microlite not the ml grade or code.

Micro lite bars are for narrow kerf chain. Its been years back but I measured some and I think the Micro lite bars were just a bit thinner.

I used to use the heck out of them cutting out of brush piles etc, pinched them plenty of times, never bent one and don't think thats a issue.

I have a couple new old stock Husky mount bars and was going to use them with the new narrow kerf Speedcut chains. Probably will do that this spring when I get back to cutting.

It will be good to see, it was a $90 chain and bar combo compared to about $140 for a husqvarna one

I Have the .325, when you stay stiffer? Is it just made from different metal?

Note that some of the narrow kerf / microlite bars are being replaced by the newer SpeedCut bars and chains: still narrow kerf, but stiffer bars:

Husqvarna calls the .325 narrow kerf stuff 'Pixel'.
