My daughters are my best apprentices they do exact what you ask and how you asked or showed them.
The oldest boy wont do anything he can do later and later never comes.
The youngest son complains but he is getting better with his hands helps fixing the car servicing etc
The wife is a terrible apprentice ("hold this end still so i can get this level", she will hold it still with one hand and start looking around or start talking/yelling at someone and her end will have moved up three inches and then dropped six inches)

Yep mine are very good they have been following me around from when they could work,fishing hunting and cutting wood they love it,but are at that age where they are chasing the boys around,the funny thing is the youngest ones boy friend cuts wood and hunts as well ha ha.
Its good they understand the dangers,we are a good team and they appreciate things that ya have to work for.

Did some milling the other day with the 660 BB Kit (Matt shes going well) the log in the front is pine, farmers wonts the slabs for something and the others are Sugargum,which i will make rails for my post and rail front fence one day.There is two bigger ones that i may make a bar top or something out of,the widest one will be about 28'' - 30'' wide.

Let it dry then find a nice hard dry bit will clean the chain and the vibes from the 460 will rattle the rest off.
