Rumors are no Brookville, no Connellsville.

Don't know about Forksville, Sheffield or Perry County. Rumor has it that there are some little shows that I don't get info on 'cause they don't want "pros."

Sorry, I did'nt notice your reply until today.

For Tuscaraora and Perry Co, PM me and I'll forward the entry or just more information.

Bedford Fair - http://www.bedford-fair.com/schedule.htm

Loyalsock - http://www.lvamassoc.org/show_info.html There are a few lumberjack show pictures on their page, scroll down past the tractors.

Wayne County - http://www.waynecountyfair.com/

Clinton County - http://www.clintoncountyfairpa.com/schedule.html

Warren Fair - http://www.warrencountyfair.net/ Just show up and race, pure stock in 4.5 cube and open, D handles ok. All mods but pipe in open stock appearing. This is a good show for first time racers.

Also, Sheffield is Oct 9-11th. No more info yet.

If you want to watch a show, Cherry spings is a good one: http://www.woodsmenshow.com/

Lord Willing, I'll be competing in all but Cherry Springs and Wayne Co, It's hard to be two places at the same time!

I watched the loyalsock show this past weekend.. I pull antique farm tractors so its nice to watch the lumberjack competition while i wait for them to start pulling tractors.. it was a nice show:clap:

I'm looking to start competing next season....I highly doubt there's any kind of schedule as of yet for '10, but I'll keep posted!

So any events around Eire, Pa.?

There is this local speed racer in Eire that I want to run against!

Interested in this area as well...my in-laws are in New Castle, PA so not far from Erie...place great excuse to go small mouth fishing!

I don't know of anything this far west. (I'm just outside of Pittsburgh) There may be some small local shows that I don't know about though.

yeah any links to western pa comps open to amateurs with stock saws? I got a 288xp that id like to compete with this summer comin up. I know Connellsville,Pa has a thing called Timber Days, they used to have comps don't know if they still do or not though.

No, no links yet. When I get more info from the guys that set it up I'll post it tho. Also am waiting to hear about the dates this summer for the arborist games in Philly. I'm kinda new to that stuff so I have only heard some stories. Supposed to have a guy that sets that up get me info on that too when it gets set up.

i guess everything is probably over by now, but can anyone post up anything current that may be going on this year or next? specificaly in western PA? thanks very much!!

^ Hey Roger I don't know of anything going on at all in our neck of the woods, they cancelled Timber Days down in Connellsville over Labor Day Weekend. I emailed the Chamber of Commerce and they said they hope to have it again next year, the only reason they had to cancel is that the Memorial Bridge is being rebuilt and the park is underneath it so no parking room for the event at all.

You been wheeling at all? I've been going strong all summer long man :)

naw man no wheelin for me this year. money has been short ya know? i meant to tell you i can still get you wheelin out in ligonier but theres not much challenge. we'll get together some day and you can take a look.

yeah i was hoping connellsville would have that event but i guess i can wait till next year. a fella on another site sent me some info on 2 shows coming up this year if your interested, but they are like 3-4 hours away. let me know if you would be interested and i can pass the info onto you.

actually, lol, i should post it here huh? take care man!
