My older pin Oak is stressing. It’s been fighting Oak Gauls for a few years and last year sprouted all over the trunk. My neighbors recently cut down a massive tree next to it. More sun and room now. Not sure that will help.
I really want to save it if possible. Suggestions?

I doubt the additional sunlight will help much...except that overall it is good for the tree. Oak Galls are caused by a variety of Gall Wasps. Generally 'galls' don't have much affect on a tree unless too numerous (especially on the trunk).
