Hello, I'm very new and I registered for a question about a butternut tree, but as long as I am here I would also like someone's opinion on a pin oak tree. The tree seems to be approximately half dead, but it has leaves, not branches just leaves, growing from the trunk between 5 and 10 ft up. If anybody has any idea what I should do, please let me know. I'm not sure if I should take the dead branches off, trim the leaves growing from the trunk, leave them there, treat it with something, etc.... Any advice is appreciated.
