lt started out with one complete 750 saw but l quickly discovered after completely tearing it down things started looking bad. Luckily for me l had a donar saw here.
l replaced pretty much everything including a better C-Case. l switched out the carbs. l had a new carb with choke setup which were used on the later production 750 & 850 saw and l removed the flimsy air vane setup which were also on the 750 & 850 saws.
Yea it does not make sense in having a fuel primer and choke assist , Maybe R&D were expierimenting prior to the later production year 1968-70 of the 1750 , etc
l agree all the other 1750 , 1850, 1770, 1771 saws had the choke. the ipl's indicate this.
l had to remove the air vane otherwise the choked carb will not fit because the throttle shaft are different.
l send this info and you can read the wording in the paragragh and come to our own conclusion.
My 750 Saw originally came equipped with the non-choke carb but decided to upgrade.
